Meet the Founder

Meet Edgar Eddie Aquino Jr, the founder of Platinum Music Entertainment. Born in the lower east side of NYC and of Puerto Rican heritage. Edgar began his career in the security industry. He worked on many projects such as celebrity details, clubs and big venue events. His travels during his career lit an interest to make a difference not only in his career but also in the music industry.

Edgar then made the jump to the promotional industry, having spent sometime with a record label company as the Road Manager of multiple artists helping to expand the company in the states. During this time Edgar was faced with the global pandemic. While dealing with the global pandemic Edgar decided to take the jump to start his own business which he called "Platinum Music Entertainment".

'I started Platinum Music Entertainment with the intention of not only helping New Artists move forward in there music career but I also wanted to make an impact within minority neighborhoods offering those in need of a career in the music industry." Edgar says "if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach, changing one life at a time." As we grow and continue to make a foot print within the music industry that foot print not only represents our company but it represents our Artist's hopefully for a lifetime.
